Judging the for Miss Ultimate Beauty Pageant

Honoring women of many ages, sizes, and statuses for their personal achievement and community involvement. Our judging criteria is primarily based on community involvement and how each girl or woman showcases and brings their personality to life. Join us for a night a glamour, talent and competition to become the next Miss Ultimate Beauty of America.


Miss / Ms / Mrs / Teen Community Service (15%)

Contestants will do a minimum of 30 hours of community service. They will be judged based upon their leadership skills displayed during the service project(s). They will be judged based upon their ability to get their friends and community involved in their service project. Their score will include the creativity of their activities, as well as creativity in their video clip presentation about their community service project. Contestants will prepare a video clip to display their community service.

 

Preteen/Princess/Mini Community Service (15%)

Contestants will do a minimum of 10 hours of community service. They will be judged based upon their leadership skills displayed during the service project(s). They will be judged based upon their ability to get their friends and community involved in their service project. Their score will include the creativity of their activities, as well as creativity in their video clip presentation about their community service project. Contestants will prepare a video clip to display their community service.

 

Private Interview (30%)

Miss Ultimate Beauty of America® queens must be articulate with excellent social and conversational skills. Titleholders must be able to express themselves clearly, diplomatically, and must project a pleasant personality at all times.

Interviews are conducted panel style for a duration of 5 minutes.  Focuses primarily on contestants personal information (e.g., hobbies, ambition, platform, etc.) but may include opinion questions that require general knowledge of social and current events. Wear a dress, cocktail suit, or pantsuit for the interview competition.

*Miss, Teen, Pre-Teen, Ms/Mrs, and Ms.Plus Contestants only*
Judging criteria:  conversational skill, personality, demeanor, beauty, grooming, and fashion sense.

 

Swimsuit / Fitness (25%)

Miss Ultimate Beauty of America® titleholders must exemplify a lifestyle of good physical, emotional and intellectual health.  Winners should be live a healthy and active lifestyle.  Miss Ultimate Beauty of America™ titleholders must carry themselves with poise, beauty, confidence and grace.

Miss, Ms/Mrs, and Ms.Plus will model a 1-piece or 2-piece swimsuit.

Baby Queens, Mini, Princess, Pre-Teen,  and Teens will model sports wear. 

Swimsuit may have cut-outs, mesh, and/or embellishments.

Judging criteria:  fitness, modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense

 

Fun Fashionwear (25%)

Miss Ultimate Beauty of America® titleholders must be able to showcase their own personal sense of fashion.  This segment will be conducted very much like a runway fashion show. Fashion attire can be anything the delegate feels represents a currently popular or stylish ensemble. Judges will be looking for high energy, spirit, and the delegate's sense of contemporary style for today's woman. Judges are not looking for a specific style or designer label but rather how well the attire suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation. 

Competition details:

* Attire is dressy-casual and may be a dress or pants outfit - NO FULL-LENGTH EVENING GOWNS should be worn as Fashionwear!
* Contestants are encouraged to accessorize with earrings, umbrellas, jackets, hats, gloves, etc. 
* Midriffs are acceptable but must be tasteful and complement size and figure. 
* Very casual attire (e.g., shorts, plain jeans, dockers) is not recommended.

Judging criteria:  modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.

 

Evening Gown (25%)

Contestants must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance.  Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate's on-stage presentation.

* Evening gown must be floor length.

 

Question and Answer (15%)

Contestants must have the  ability to think fast on feet, articulate, and remained composed during media on stage interview. You will wear your evening gown.

Judging criteria:  modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.

 

Photograph (5%)

Judges will score your headshot based upon physical beauty and modeling ability. The picture should be a professional headshot. It is the picture used for the website and program book. All headshots should be taken on a white backdrop with white or pink attire.
